Any digital caliper will work. I ordered one of these:

I believe the minimum is 28 mm but I'll let the experts chime in.

Minimum thickness is stamped on each rotor. 28mm is the minimum thickness. You can measure the inner, middle, and outer edges. The root (inner part) is where you don't want a thin rotor.

Ah ok so you measure across the width of the rotor, from outside face to inside face?
