Spare Delete/ Cover
Hi,
I deleted my.spare and tools from my Lexus IS F, what do you guys use to keep the mat from flexing? Since the spare it self holds the weight, what do you guys suggest to brace it?

Pieces of styrofoam. Or you could purchase Great Stuff and make a mould of the spare tire area by cutting a piece of plastic, filling it with Great Stuff and trimming it down to fit under the rear mat. I also purchased the Weathertech cargo mat which adds some rigidity by itself. Unless you’re putting a couple hundred pounds of items on it that should be more than enough for typical something typical like groceries.

Never had an issue with flat tires ***knock on wood***, only recent one I had was a blown tire from my fathers sequoia. Tires were getting old. Anyways, my daily drive is about 14 miles back and forth from work. I'm not worried about a flat tire, I have a fix a flat like all new cars now days. Even the Porsche 911s or modern mercedes don't hold spares no more.

No flat fixing compound will restore a tire with a sliced sidewall. You'll be calling a flatbed if you've ditched the donut.
But the easy fix is a garbage bag and a can or two of Great Stuff. Put the garbage bag in the well, fill it with Great Stuff, put the cover on and bleed off any excess somewhere safe, then let it solidify. Works a lot like a custom seat insert for a track car.
