Bringing this back to the top. My is350 daily has been an excellent car, but I’m currently selling it. I contemplated daily driving the F, but am against it since my plan is to ultimately build it even more.
So, it’s time for a bigger daily that works better for a family. I’m considering an older RX350, V6 RAV4, or even an LS460. I’d like it to be bigger than my car, dead reliable, last a long time, and I have about 15k cash. What are your recommendations? Longevity does matter to me, as I plan to pay cash for cars moving forward in life. My IS350 would easily go another 10-15 years, so I’m looking for the same longevity while I pay off my house.

Zero problems in our 05 GX over the past 5 years. 115-165k. Drove from MO to Rocky Mt NP and back last summer... tow a boat... poor mileage but it’s worth it.
07 Taco 4 door can take a fall off a cliff and keep going.... (in-laws for 8 years).
neither quite in the range it sounds like you are looking though.

Surprised my wife with a birthday present CT200H few weeks ago to replace her 08 Yaris. Had to match the F
Is surprisingly fun to drive, didn't bother with the F Sport as wanted more comfort and cheaper price. Even with me driving it normally with traffic speeds, avg is 40 so far, I'm sure better in the city. Has nav+backup cam and heated seats and upgrades stereo, but missing little things like bumper sensors and memory seats. Overall a nice car and used values are a great value even though it's basically a Prius.

I think I’m gonna test drive a v6 2010-2012 RAV4. Plus I have plenty of rims that will fit one

Two drivers, 4 cars (down from 5). '08 ISF (stored 1/2 the year), '11 LX570 (daily driver and for winters), '08 Volvo XC90 (wife's transport), '04 Volvo XC70 (beater, back up for when cars are in the shop, airport longterm parking, saving for son who will start driving in 2 years). Honorable mention, we had a 1990 Miata (inherited from mother in law when she passed) was going to build it into an autocross car but never had the time, money, or storage space. Three cars, if you have the space, are really handy to have.

Ya honestly such a great all around car for a daily. Big step up from daily driving my S2K for the 12 years I had it thru the winter and stuff was fun but having creature comforts like heated steering wheel/seats and being able to pre-condition the car before I leave work in the snow is awesome. Also the gas/maintenance savings alone is huge convenience just to plug it in when I get home and it's good to go in morning if/when I need to recharge. S2Ks (ap1) are known for burning lots of oil even though it did decent on gas mileage just had to keep on top of monitoring the oil levels which was mildly annoying.
