2013 RX350 - Wife's / Family Hauler
2012 ISF - Weekend Warrior
2011 Acura TSX Wagon - Daily Commuter / Family Hauler

Recently sold a high mileage IS350 and replaced it with the TSX. Was looking for better MPG and practicality.

Keep the IS350 and buy a set of winter wheels and tires. Keep the F rust-free.

After driving the F and seeing how low this one is (Swift springs and TOM’s aero), I’ll definately keep the 350 for winter and other events where door rings are likely. Thanks!

2012 ISF - Commuter car (M-F)
2017 Mazda CX5 - Weekend family car

The ISF doesn't get driven on weekends as I'm always with the wife and kids :-( lol

We have a '15 Toyota Sienna as the Wife's / Family Car (I know a minivan.... blah, but it works so well I will swallow that pill for a few years until the little ones get bigger.)
GX470- I drive most of the time and all winter (Great for camping too)
ISF- I garage for winter and drive some weekdays and weekends.
Might be adding a ZR-1 to the group and I will keep the F.

My advice is if you can swing it reasonably keep the other car to protect your F for winters, etc.

The IS350 is officially an outside car now for winters and crowded events. Do you guys just wax your outside cars regularly to protect from sun damage? She doesnt get much shade, or I can park it under a tree but then it’ll probably get covered with pine needles or sap!

Yup, waxing is highly beneficial both for paint and helps with rust prevention.

I buy cars and keep them for less than two years. Instead of having a second car, I park that money in short term stocks. Cash out profits to pay for the slight hit I take in resale. Rinse and repeat. I drive all year long on SUMMER TIRES.

EDIT: If I had a non-Japanese car maybe I would have a second car but in a two year interval these cars are too reliable to break.

I have my 2010 IS350 that I drive in the summer months.. and an old 1997 Honda CRV 4wd that I drive in the winter.. still in great shape and its amazing in the snow with a proper set of snow tires. It's also great on gas.. I also have a 05 Ford escape V6 as well that my parents gave me a few years ago but its terrible on gas in the city
