Sad but true, sold my ISF yesterday
After 13 years with an IS first from 2006 to 2016 with my IS350, then i bought my ISF on 2016, a beautiful USB 2010 with 7,000 miles. It is still like new, now with 21,000miles 5 Track Days and last sunday an Inter-clubs race under his belt. What a great experience have been owning an ISF, but my best friend and track pal is moving to Florida and he gave me an excellent deal on his 2016 M3 with Dinan S3 with 530HP and only 9,000 miles. He can´t take it to the states because is a latin america/euro spec car. He already got a lease on a 2018 M3 Competition Packaged over there, but back to my ISF..... last november I started trackn and it became an obsesion, so started first improving the car handling, BC Racing coilsovers with swift springs, rear sikky sway bar, RR USRS, figs adjustable endlinks.... (btw RR I did the mod on the front sway bar of adding an additional hole and it gave me more understeering than ever, with FIGS adjustable endlinks sway bar got stranded, so last week we put it back in the original holes + raised the car back 1 inch, rear sway bar in the hardest setting and BC´s -6 rear -10 front to get the car to overteer and level the over steer.... it was perfect).
So, taking some risk, last sunday i decided to parcticipate on an interclubs for street cars event. All clubs with 5 or 6 cars do a qualifying for the top 3 go to the final, there were 7 clubs, so at the end final was a 5 laps race for 27 cars. Starting grid was on luck, and bad for me i ended up 18 with big power behind my, a friend FK8, a GT3, a GTR, a few subys and a A45. In front of me a lot of tuned hondas, in the front row two civics that are track cars that got interior installed so they could run.... they won 1 and 2. I did fine, here are some pics of my car that day and a long video (10 minutes) with the entire race.
i hate to leave CL, but who knows i might return in the near future...... we shall see......... see you later JP

Cool video. Seemed to do well considering it didn't seem like a track where the F had much leg room with all the slow corners. Had some butt puckering watching some of those cars trying to late brake you on the inside of corners and such. I don't think I'd have the stones to take my F out door to door racing. Don't trust people enough to know what they are doing. That's what the race car is for.

Wow, fantastic car to go from the ISF. I love th new M3’s. They are beasts with so little needed to be way over powered for regular street driving.. That’s definitely an insane find with those mods already too.
