so today I installed AOS and meanwhile I am there I cleaned my AFE oil filter, throttle body and maf sensor. While at that I have noticed this.... what is this broken? And do I absolutely have to fix it? Is it the escape plan for my horses?? Please chim in.

As far as I understand it's a vacuum valve to open secondary intake opening....

Looks like the plastic tube has broken off the air flap actuator you could try and glue it or just plug up the rubber hose. If you glue it check for air leaks.

I actually had it while back just forgot to mention it. And I'm in "mechanic" mode so figured I'd ask. Someone somewhere meantion the loss of low end torgue with flap being open... I can always use low end torgue tho...

Good news, flap thing works. Ill repair it or buy assembly.
