Looks good. Is that DIY, or did you have that done somewhere?

If it's the Cerakote I think it is, it's a pretty involved process. https://www.cerakoteguncoatings.com/...EB_1-17-17.pdf
It's possibly to DIY, but unless you've got all of the stuff required to actually do the process, it's better left to a pro.
Looks like this process isn't intended to be a DIY unless you want to start a Cerakote business. The only thing I didn't see was how hot the coating will survive. From the sound of it, it's a lot better than most powder coatings, but they didn't come right out and say yes indeed this will work great on your auto brake calipers at the track. Most powder coat can't tolerate track temps. Lots of bad stories on the Corvette forums about that.
If this coating really is tolerant to 500F, I'd love to do mine again. Same problem as everyone else - the original coating is chipping off now.
Had my headers cera coated. Supposed to be up to 1600-1800 deg or something. The link provided shows gun powder coats. They offer higher temp exhaust quality coatings as well which is what I got.

Cerakote isn't perfect, but I would say it holds up better than normal powder coat (Cerakote is similar to powder coat in the fact that it has to be baked to cure, but it goes on wet and is then baked on, powder goes on as a dry powder before being baked on).
LOTS of guns either come coated with this stuff from the factory, or are done aftermarket. It holds up to the heat of being applied to a semi automatic gun barrel pretty well. Any local gun shop should be able to help you find a place that can do this kind of work, but not every shop that can do Cerakote will want to deal with a set of brake calipers. Also have a look at pages 7-9 of this thread: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...-Vol-III/page7 The process for refinishing a set of Viper calipers is shown, including Cerakoting all the caliper hardware.
It started as DIY project, but I chickened out and had Denmark industries of paramount, Ca. They have done many powder coating projects for me and now have done my calipers in Cera coating. Cost was $250. Very happy with the way they turned out, but the sad news is when putting them together I had an o ring get nicked and they are back ordered til June 18th. Coating supposed to be good to 1800 degrees. Thanks everyone

Their high-temp gun coating is rated to 1800 degrees, and their exhaust coating is supposed to be color stable to 2000 degrees.
It's pretty cools stuff
