I’d seen a YouTube vid where someone FBO had recorded a run, and in comments someone else had examined frame by frame and determined their 0-60 was 3.7s... I’m simply stating to provide another data point.

Yes, I purchased thru the app. First time setup can be a little buggy but once setup it works just fine.

Can you send a link to this PIDs? I'm guessing this is directly connected to the OBDlink Device so no need for phone wifi interface correct?

So I only use 93 octane, I’m in Charleston, SC which is sort of hot but nothing like what it will be. I’m running between 90°-100° intake temps. Oil up to operating temperature and coolant temp stabilized. I’ve tried every combination between 1-8 pulls in manual and auto (at least that I can think of). The KCLV started out at 20 and has only moved lower relative to that number but increased and decreased and is currently at 18.72. Does that sound normal. It sounds like everyone seems to be able to keep theirs above 20 with high over gear pulls but that still hasn’t helped me increase it. So, besides additives or finding race gas what else can be done to raise it? How rapidly does it change (I’d imagine it was lean more towards lower numbers of any detections are found and only slowly work back up)?

Generally intake temps much over 70 are going to hurt KCLV due to retard in timing. You typically don't wanna get on the car when intake temps are high or else you get that result. Not much you can do but try to mitigate heat soak or lower intake temps prior to trying to go WOT to increase KCLV.

Run a can of seafoam through the intake and run a fuel system cleaner in the tank. Reset ecu and try again

If you're not on a light wheel to begin with, you could be talking 60-70% reduction in MOI. If you went to a smaller/lighter setup, say RPF-1's w/R7's or Pirelli slicks, your 0-60 would almost certainly drop to under 4 seconds, given the trifecta bonus of weight reduction, ROLLING weight reduction (and far more impactful than most since you're on 20's), and added traction. Btw, yes I know my R7's are spec'd substantially more narrow, but the set I have is quite wide vs. spec.

Adv1’s 20x11 in rear. 20x9.5 in front. So you are saying with some light weight 19’s all the way around it’s in the 11’s? I got my kcvl up to 23.7 at the track

Wow - Great looking setup! Nice wheels to be sure, but I couldn't find much specifics on weight (not even sure I had the right model)... Yes, if you go with something light and small (several 18" packages will clear our brakes, but you have to be careful), the difference in rotating weight is staggering. Could definitely be worth a tenth or three, especially when you include tire weight and compound... Plus, if you decide to track, 18" rubber is much more affordable vs 20". Hence my 18" track setup and 19" for DD.

First, thanks for introducing me to OBD Fusion, I didn’t even know it existed! I downloaded the App and bought the Veepeak BLE.
Second, my KCLV sucks! Under 3K RPM its pretty stready at 15.2 deg. During acceleration, it drops down to 13.2 deg, which I was able to get up to 13.8 deg by doing a bunch of pulls. I cant imagine how Im ever going to see over 20 deg!
Im going to try disconnected my battery, Im interested in seeing if my KCLV will “default” to a better number. I wonder if this low KCLV is a result of my “city” driving. Maybe this is why I did so poorly at the drag strip last year?

Run a fuel system cleaner through the tank, reset the ecu, and do some 6th gear pulls. I'm at 23.75 under 3k rpm and 25.15 over 3k rpm.

Just wanted to say that you can change the way the gauges look if you have not ventured into that part of the app.

Thanks, I’ll try that. To confirm, if I do a 6th gear pull, am I manually shifting into 6th, and going from 2K RPM to say, 5 or 6K while keeping it in 6th?
Thanks again.
