Illuminate door sill drivers side install help
Hey folks I purchased the illuminated door sills for my 09 ISF and I was able to install and ground the passenger side perfectly but I cannot figure how to wire up the driver side since there’s no plug and play connector like the passenger side. Any help would be amazing thanks.
How much money do you want to spend? I am doing this right now as well, but I am wiring it to be exactly the same as the factory setup. Waiting for the pins with pigtails to show up so I can complete it and have it work identically to the IS350 luxury model that came with them. I'll post a DIY to the original thread when I finish.

I have the door sills waiting to be wired up and I want them to be done OEM style, what part did you order and how much were they?
Waiting for parts to show up. The credit card key for the GS F is holding the order hostage as it is on backorder until May 14th. I'll post a parts list and DIY when I finish the project.

Depends on what you want. OEM are in the thread above as are the Junack from Japan. While the Junack look awesome, they also have an awesome price. There are wiring guides in this thread as well, but I will be wiring mine with factory pigtails so it looks and works exactly like a factory install. I'm not a fan of Scotch splices, and you won't find any soldering on any wire harness I have to maintain. Only someone who has never worked on an old harness would solder one. Mine will be color correct and crimped at any connections which is why I ordered the connectors and pins with pigtails from Lexus. Again, not cheap, but factory reliable.

Do you have the part numbers to share for the harnesses you have? I want to do everything OEM style

The pics in the thread were on photobucket, which ironically kicked the bucket
Housing, Connector M 90980-11917 1 $6.15
Terminal, Repair W/W 82998-12670 2 $34.96
Terminal, Repair W/W 82998-24290 5 $70.05
Terminal, Repair W/W 82998-24270 2 $28.02
Terminal, Repair W/W 82998-24380 1 $15.38
Terminal, Repair W/W 82998-12690 1 $17.48
$172.04 in connector and terminal pins. These will need to be modified with colored shrink tubing to follow color code (only need blue for some of them) and will need additional wire because these connectors are on 160mm pigtails, not long wires. The 500mm wires are not available in the US. And then I will need to connect the pigtails together with appropriately colored wire (blue and white) and inline crimps covered with shrink tubing. Then a bunch of electrical tape to rebundle the harnesses after splitting them to put the wires in. But it will look and work just like factory - you'll even be able to trace it using the 2nd gen IS350 wiring diagram. So likely $200 in parts all up (less if you use MyLParts with the CL discount) and right now I'm guessing about 4 hours of labor to do the first one.
