2nd Fuel Pump Issue

Wondering if anyone had this issue. After driving home yesterday I heard a loud buzzing sound from the car which I could not pin point the issue.

I took the car to the dealership which they told me the 2nd fuel pump on the passenger side is failing.

The high pressure fuel pump? That's a pretty penny to replace. There have been no reports on this forum of HPFP failures.

yep, when I would give the car gas it was quite but when I released the gas pedal it sounded like a circular saw. Do you have an idea of how much? What would cause this? Would it because I took the car back to stock exhaust? We were going to trade in but now we are fixing this issue.

i am hoping the extended warranty covers it with no issues but I seen a lot of complaints about them not paying on items.

Hopefully it's contained. Injectors or cams aren't cheap!
