Met up with Maher, great guy he was interested in hearing FBO ISF, so we met up for the first time talked about our cars and took him for drive. First on the street so he can hear how it sound then on the highway and full few WOT pulls, and down shifts. It's hard to tell on YouTube videos how car truly sounds until you've been in one in person. Show them when the car with drone at what idle speeds also what it sounded like at speed as well. I think I was able to convert them to going FBO LOL. I have USB and he has Matador red.

Nice, I could've joined you guys to compare exhausts (different headers and exhausts) set ups as well as suspension components.

That would have been great for him to hear and feel the difference between different headers and exhaust setups. I have PPE Headers, JoeZ PTS Exhaust, hi flow cats with RRRacing tuned intake. That was one of the conversations we had the differences between different setups Sikky headers with borla exhaust will sound different from my setup or even using PPE headers but going with a different exhaust will give you a different tone a different note.

I took him WOT a few times in my ISF he knows the difference now between a stock ISF and the full bolt on tuned ISF running e30 ethanol as well. No reason to race each other.

I no longer have the sikky headers, but I have the equal length PPEs, which have different sound. It would have been a great comparison. Right now my setup consists of ppe equal length headers, borla catback and rrracing tuned intake.

They produce a more even and less lumpy tone and a bit higher pitch. They do quiet the exhaust at certain RPMs, which is why I'm waiting for the new valved mufflers from rrracing to replace the stock borla mufflers. I really like the new headers. I tent to shift at higher RPMs now because it sounds much better. We should meet some time so you can hear the difference.

That would be cool to see how they sound. I'm also waiting for our RRRacing new valve mufflers to come out as well.

I would love to get a bunch of ISF's around to compare. Any chance we could set up a day for all the NYC area ISF's?

I'm with you let's do NYC, Westchester or Long Island. Nothing against NJ just dont want to deal with traffic distant etc. I've done ISF meets in past Last one was yrs ago with between 25 and 30 IS F we ment in NYC on 57th st drove down 7th ave stop in heart of Times Square rev cars tourist were running into streets taking pics it was crazy. We then continued down to 34th Street by the Jacob Javits Center hung out took more pics and did some drive by videos so we could hear different exhaust. That might be to difficult to now with all security in city now. But I say rent out spot at park in Westchester or Long Island everybody brings something soda, chips, burgers etc. And open it up to all REAL F cars ISF, RCF and GSF.

That was a great night. Even a guy who owns an isf in Europe and was visiting joined us. We can also go to the club Lexus annual bbq in long island. It's next month and not too far.

Where is this C&C in Scotch Plains? I’m up for a meet. I’d like to hear a car with headers. I have intake and a Borla now.
