Did you run the RE-11s previously? I’m currently on the Indy 500s with 6k miles, 100+ runs down the drag strip and a track day and they’re great! I’m on the 245/275 setup but will be going to 255/285 when it’s time. I was thinking about trying the RE11s due to more upcoming track days I’ll be attending this year so your feedback would be appreciated. But at 1/2 the cost the Indy 500s are hard to beat!
I had the predecessor to the RE-11, the RE01R on my Bmw and these seem very close to me both in grip and responsiveness. I really don’t think you’ll see a huge difference in lap times without going to something like Michelin Cup 2 or another DOT Track tire.
Those are beautiful! Wish I could source a set for my IS250C. I think it would look great. Any side view of the rear wheel, to see how it sits vs fender?
I will have to take some from a better angle, but I do have this one on my phone.
