Read several threads where the same question has been asked and watched many ISF vids that claim to have that crackle pop etc but its not even close to the sound some of those C63's, RS7's etc put out.

As others have mentioned its in the tune but our cars arent mainstream enough for anyone to invest the time to work on such a tune (hopefully such a tune does exist lol)

Like some others here, ive got PPE headers, catless exhaust etc and get the occasional crackle, especially on decal but nothing as close as this......forward to about 2:30 and hear this C63 crackle away. Dont get me wrong, i love the sound of my ISF like we all do but im yet to hear any ISF crackle like this which is what i think the OP was talking about vs the mild pops we get.

Agreed, my FBO 135i, and my old Dinan s2 M5 would burble and pop/crackle like mad if you let off of the gas at most any RPM, Enough to make people turn around even when trying to be quiet ha.

I know that MHD ,a android based BMW reflashing app, had a specific Burble tune (think rally car anti lag) that could be added to the tune you had for your car.

My IS-F has PPE's, and borla exhaust, and the RR tune and I MIGHHHTTT get one pop when coming to a stop.

I’m tired of every damn new car these days crack farting and popping. What happened to cars that just sounded good. The only drawback of adding turbos is every car nowadays sounds like royal ****.

Dont bother with an overrun tune, just enjoy the last of good sounding V8’s :P

Yes, cause otherwise they are more fuel efficient and make a **** ton more power. So hard to argue against them.

Agreed. This crackle/burble sound is nothing but a fad.

Wide body M4 on/offed throttle through the grocery store parking lot a few hours ago so everyone could hear the loose change in his tin can muffler. Puke.

Mine has a touch of it when coming off the gas. The tech @ Lexus of Tampa Bay that did the install of my headers + Joe Z exhaust noted mine was definitely the loudest one he's heard and he's installed this same set up on multiple F's.

Believe it or not, it's almost to loud and this is coming from guy that likes loud exhaust tone.

crackle/burble sounds sell cars to the masses just like altezza lights, angel eyes or led strips sell/sold cars, its all in the eye of beholder. Who cares if its a nice or good product as long as it sounds or looks good
