Default Rr-racing USRS autocross test

I just installed new upgrades for my Lexus and decided to go autocrossing to test. Rr-racing Ultimate Steering Response System. I got a lot of people asking me about my Lexus this day, to many they did not know a Lexus could drive this way lol

At the end of the video I gave a ride along to a corvette owner and he had some good impressions about how the car felt.

What a cool video and POV for the session and the discussion with the Corvette owner was cool to hear his take on the car and the respect he had for it!

A good analogy that comes to mind for the difference is imagine doing athletic activities with loose fitting shoes, this would be your factory bushings. More play and movement before you can pivot and make cuts. Some like loose shoes for confort, but if you want that feel and response you need to tighten your laces The USRS bushings is like being properly fitted for athletic shoes.

Great video thanks for sharing and nice feed back from Corvette driver. He seemed to be pretty surprised with the performance of the car.

It would have been interesting see a side by side video before and after the USRS was installed

Thank you for this video.

My 2012 SFP is still 100% stock.

I haven't even had the windows tinted.

I'm wondering how much the LCA bushing upgrade will save in tires in the long run. I feel like this is the best upgrade for the IS-F hands-down.

Let me know your thoughts!!

Thanks!!!

I also feel like this is the best upgrade for the ISF. I haven't had to replace my tires yet so I have no past information on how my front tires wore before.

I took my ISF out to Mid Ohio race track in stock form without these bushings and i felt a lot of understeer and the front tires were taking a beating. The outside edges of my fronts back then were wearing and taking a lot of the load during cornering.

The tire wear appears better after this autocross event, more spread over the tires than before. Not so mich on the outside edge as before ( during turn in and at understeer limit and opposite lock) as if neg camber was better. This probably explains the better grip this time.

If it saves me on tire wear thats awesome too. As my daily it was fun already with the V8 intake sounds that come on at 3500rpms, the LCA bushings really improve the balance now and my daily wants to be my new race car, my S2000 has competition lol

Wow, thank you for that review. Definitely give it a try on a high speed track. My first track day in the ISF was at Virginia International Raceway, and my first observation was how unstable the car felt in the 150mph braking zones. It would just wander under braking due tot he toe out induced by the rearward axial compression of the rear LCA bushing.

Replacing the LCA bushings is absolutely the first mod anyone should do on an IS-F. I had worn down the cords on my front tires at maybe 15k miles. I'm over 25k now on the current set with new bushings and should be able to get 30k on them easy.

Great video!

Thanks so much for sharing, you made it look easy!

Considering you’re pretty much OEM (except USRS), that was a very respectable time.

Nicely done.

That video has got to be the most compelling review for the rr-racing USRS to date! I was gun-shy to pull the trigger on purchasing but after watching this I pulled the trigger. Can't wait! Loved the corvette guys comments. Very knowledgeable guy. Are you sure that wasn't Randy "The Rocket" Pobst? His voice sounded a lot like him
