I would say the S2000 if you actually tracking the car anyway. But its going to come down to what is more important to you really like stated above.

My money would go towards the S2000 but I am a little biased . An S2000 with a couple simple changes is a weapon around a track or twisty canyon road. It will never be a "fast" street car short of forced induction but if you have a clean example and an IS-F (which is a better, more fun street car anyway) then my honest advice is to not try and make the S2000 into something it's not (a straight line car). I have an AP2 (MY06) and I thought it was important to keep it limited to tasteful, reversible modifications that build on the original ethos of the car (a small momentum car that has a HUGE appetite for corners and braking zones ). If you autocross and want to spend money and enjoy modding the S2000 I would recommend starting with a good set of tires and brake pads. If you want to get more into it then look into a wider set of non-staggered wheels and a good suspension setup that wont break the bank (e.g. 17x9 square with Öhlins DFV and maybe a larger adjustable front sway bar). There are some useful power mods but they don't necessarily offer a great value so that would be the last thing to cover, in my opinion. I ended up keeping the stock intake and headers since they are actually very good and just changed out the stock cat for a test pipe and a cat back exhaust and finally Hondata with a custom tune by Jei at Blacktrax (Honda tuning wizard) to lower the VTEC crossover from 6,000 to 4,500rpm... picking up only ~10whp up top but ~30wtq in the midrange which helped with drivability.

I have had both and would say the same as most others. I would mod the S2k. The ISF is great with a few small things. The S2k is like a new car with some serious mods in terms of both performance and looks.

Flamesuit on...

Sell the S2K, buy an older Camry and turn the IS-F into a weekend car. Save the rest of the money and/or put it into your house.

Can you tell I don't care for S2000's?
