245/275 Tire Combo
I just bought a set of 2011 rear 19x9 wheels for the next time I get tires. I will go with the 255/35 in the front and the 275 in the rear. Need to get spacers, but I think the 255/275 set up is going to be ideal. A lot of the guys with the 2012+ wheels are going this direction already.

I test fit the 19x9 on the front awhile back without a spacer and it was just a mm or two shy of fitting. I'm going to go with the 15mm spacers front and back and am fully confident that this will not only look good, but fit perfectly well.

I'm running the same setup 245/35r19 275/30r19, but on factory 2010 wheels. I noticed the car feels floaty when going high speeds on corners. I know mostly everyone with 08-11 factory wheels run the same setup, but with PSS'. I'm running NT05's, will that make a difference considering it's closer to a drag radial then a summer tire? Btw nice car, diggin the spokes.
I've been enjoying my Front - 245/35/19 and Rear - 275/30/19 setup. I've been taking my car to the track more and am considering putting a 255/35/19 and 285/30/19 setup for my 2012 wheels next set of tires. Any of the tire experts care to weight in on any negative affects I would cause by doing this? I am on a stock rear suspension and swift lowering springs only on the front so I don't believe I should have any rubbing. Thanks!
^^^^2012+ wheels are 8½" and 9½" wide, front to rear. That's ½" wider than earlier ISF wheels. The sizes you suggest will work just fine with your wheels, and are within the fitment range of the manufacturers. See attached.

From a performance standpoint, the 255s rock! They definitely alleviate some of the understeer.

I'm currently running 255/285 (Continental DWS 06) on my 2012 wheels (with 15mm H&R spacers, as well). I get some minor rubbing under full suspension compression, but my car is slightly lower than stock on Penske coilovers. Also, the 255s will rub at full lock in reverse.. Without the spacers, I don't think there would be any rubbing issues.

^^^^Absolutely no negatives with your wheels. I ran 245/285 Bridgestone S-04s on early model wheels, and I was happy. I'm now running RCF wheels with 255/295 Bridgestone S-04s. IMO, a wonderful combo.

Thanks for the input. I'm hoping when I go wider in the rears it will help with launching the car and less wheel spin. Going from 255 to 275 in the rears definitely helped my drag times so I can only assume more rubber will help with more grip and faster times. Also wanted to ensure I wasn't going to induce understeer by sizing up in the rear along with the fronts as I'm tracking the car more.
It seems like the consensus is that if you have the 2012+ wheels to put 255s in the front. How would the driving dynamics changes with a 275 vs 285 rear tire?
If Michelin made a 285/30/19, I would tell you. Your choices in that size are not as plentiful as 275/30/19 or 275/35/19.
I am on the 2012 wheels and yes, the 255s are definitely a no-brainer in the front.
