Nope. Maybe 3/8" but that's it. I'm sure the shock is blown.

Pops up nicely ever since replaced the struts. It was sagging even when open, so I replaced them with aftermarket. Now the trunk practically opens itself.

Mine barely pops up, though I have a carbon spoiler and I know the shocks probably need to be replaced. Lobux, do you have a link to the shocks that you bought?

Mine is the same way. I figured it was normal. I know my neighbors LS lifts itself up but I assumed that's because it was a LS

Ebay merchant: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Qty-2-IS250...-/331850216371

Seller is in Vista, CA. I know exactly where that is. I used to drive almost there when I went to the Bay Area through the Sacramento Delta on the levee roads. What fun drives those were!

Thanks everyone. I'm going to see if my dealer will replace under my extended warranty today. I have to go back and have them check my coolant again because my heater is blowing cold air again even after I filled up with distilled water. The level in the overflow looks the same since I filled it--guessing they left air in the system when they did the ELE recall???

mine opens ever so slightly...yeah new trunk supports should help.

another thing new to test is have your trunk open half way and see if the trunk stays open. you know you'll need new trunk supports if the trunk slams shut

Dealership says that it not opening is normal....don't feel like arguing with them

As for the heat, they flushed the coolant system and replaced the coolant (hopefully correctly this time) and said there were no leaks.

My car is an '08 and it doesn't open, you have to lift the lid. Think that's normal.
