I would say that our test program is significantly more intensive than what most IS-F owners will do to their cars in a lifetime.

IS-F is not an AMG -- it is robustly engineered car that is simply in a different class to the AMG or M cars when it comes to durability and reliability. IS-F CCSR's are basically stock engine and transmission cars that are being raced in 24 hour endurance races with amazing reliability.

To put the cost of the SC into perspective, there are plenty of folks putting big money to achieve 400+ or 500+ on an EVO or STi -- although those cars may seem to be a little less to buy, it is a false economy because it is 100% certainty they will fail if you push them like we do with our IS-F. Once you build it and rebuild it, your little modded 4-banger will cost you significantly more.

Just my thoughts!

Fair point, i had a 99 GC8 WRX, Helical gearbox, waterspray injection, bigger turbo, computer, CP pistons, spec C rods and much more over the 10 yrs i owned it. It was quick but agreed, id have issues with having to fix something about once every few months to the point i knew it was quick but scared to drive it hard knowing my wallet would suffer.
From what you mentioned, Id agree the average ISF owner wouldnt expose their car anywhere near the limit of this over a longer time frame.
Great work guys in offering such a package for the older gen ISF's. I still dont have the bank to justify the outlay (it just doesnt have the hoon image of a STI, EVO which everyone modifies) but its still good to have options for our great cars.
Would still be good to see when people start taking up the supercharge route and seeing how it runs on many different ISF's of all years and modifications.

I would like to bring this back to life, it’s been a few years since this thread was active.
Anyone have any longer term reviews?

I have my own thread trying to figure this same thing out plus the reliability of the kit as a whole.
