Default Orafol wrap

Any of you have experience in either buying this product, or seeing it on a car first hand? I'm growing kinda tired of my black F

I've seen it on a few Fs, whether it be the IS F or RC F. Its offerings of the Premium Shift Effects Cast look really nice. Not very glossy, but it has the look of a matte finish, which has a nice effect.

Haven't had the chance to work with it yet. They do have some nice new shift colors. Avery is my go to as far as installing because it is very easy and forgivable.

Here is mine in Avery Satin Pearl Cielo Blu. My F was black.

^ That blue F looks fantastic. Ive been thinking of wrapping instead of repairing all the small chips mine has, that blue and midnight purple make the short list.

Curious on pricing as well, please. Also, what's the life expectancy on the wrap? When the wrap has to be removed, does it leave permanent residue on the original paint? And how's it holding up in terms of rock chips and regular washes? If theres such a thing as washing. Thank you in advance.

I'm also curious about the durability of these wraps - specifically relating to rock chips, tree sap, bird shat, etc.

I have my own wrapping business so I wrapped it myself. This would cost around $2k for this color change. Life expectancy is 5-10 years depending on where you live because of weather. Some brands work well for removability within 5 years. The advantage of the wrap is protecting the original paint and avoiding rock chips. Washing the car is easy. Just have to use regular soap and water. You do have to wash the wrap regularly to avoid stains from sap and other crap.

2k due to the color...hmmm. How less should I expect to pay on a regular color? Would a matte color be less as well? 5-10 years is quite remarkable and if so, is pretty darn worth it.

Also, does the car have to be taken apart? Or can the wrap be accomplished with fenders on, trunk spoiler on, etc?

Majority of wraps happen with panels still installed. Sometimes the headlights/tailights/mirrors or such will be removed.

I removed the side mirrors, door handles, spoiler and the tailights.

If you're looking into a wrap, look into getting a sample first to see. Color can be very different from your monitor and in person.

Another thing to expect is the orange peel effect, its a lot more noticeable from the wrap finish than the factory paint
