I used automotive 3M tape. Use rubbing alcohol to clean the area and then a heat gun to heat up the fender a lil, then heat up the tape slightly and apply. Make sure to do a test fit first so you know how its going to fit and where it exactly lines up.
Yeah, mines didn't come with 3M tape, "I think" or I didn't see in the box-do I apply the alcohol only to the back of novel vents? Thanks for the info.

Since your vents didn't come with the 3M tape applied. It wouldn't hurt to lightly rub alcohol on the areas where you will apply the 3M tape stripe, on the vents. Chances are it's filled with oils from handling already. Normally, you want to rub alcohol to the mating surfaces. That may be covered with various oils, wax, detergents, and other solvents that won't allow the 3M tape to stick. The last thing you want, is for that expensive piece to fly away. In this case you also want to clean with alcohol the edges of the fender scoop areas. Where you're going to stick your carbon fiber piece. Follow, the techniques posted from other members above.
