Default cold air intake

The plastic cover that sits above the air filter box were the second flap opens there is a small indent that looks like if you cut it out it would let more cold air into the flap, what do you guys reckon ?????

I would leave it alone.

not sure if this is kinda what you are talking about (link below). But nothing beats testing it out as long as you can revert it back to original i.e. if cutting is involved i would say dont do it but thats just my 2 cents.

No i did that mod, its the big plastic cover just above the airbox flap there is a indent 1inch by 5inches it looks like it would let in cold air if you cut it out ??
