I noticed huge drone and vibrations from mine when I just disconnected the mufflers so I could get an idea of how loud it was. I hated it and reconnected them after a 20 minute drive. I read up on straight pipes and people were saying that the drone wasn't as bad as the sound was coming out under the bumper as opposed to under the rear seat.

I was pleasantly surprised by the result!

It is not bad... especially once you get to cruising speed... but the two other local F owners who have proper aftermarket exhaust just sound "cleaner". The, there is also the performance enhancement of the aftermarket exhaust as well, of course.
