went to home dept and got a pipe cutter. cut right before the mufflers. pretty dam happy with the results. running with just the resonator at the end had so much drone and shook around alot. but once i added the y pipe it droned alot less and alot less noise in the cabin area and hooked up to the oem exhaust brackets

 

So you cut off the mufflers and were running just the resonator in the middle of the system?

How did you add your own Y pipe at home with hangers?

 

All the noise with no additional power.

At least you're 100% emissions compliant.

And you can't beat the price with a stick.

 

Pretty sure you can just unbolt the mufflers...

 

Mufflers are a part of the Y pipe, not bolted on (cost savings).

 

It amazes me why people go the lengths they do to hack up their cars.... c'mon guys.

Yeah I don't think we'll quite get to that point.

I can see the muffler deletes though if done tastefully with some sort of baffle system for reducing drone.
