Lead Lap
Very similar to the result yesterday when I raced a modified 5.0 Mustang. He was loud so some sort of exhaust mod - but I walked him in my RCF and never looked back. It was pretty bad - once modified they could be very quick though.

I know this in an old thread but decided to post here since it’s the same subject instead of creating a new one.
my cousin has a 2016 mustang GT (manual transmission) with exhaust, throttle body upgrade, air filter and tune. He wants to try his car against my 2012 IS-F with PPE Headers, Greddy Titanium exhaust.
I don’t know mustangs that well, so want to get some opinions from the group, would this be a challenge? I see the 2016 stangs weight around 1,599kg which is significantly less than the ISF and I know these mustangs have tunning options that we don’t have so not sure what to expect.

Check out my race with my brother’s Boss 302 from years ago. Similar mods and a good example when both cars are driven appropriately.

Thanks for the video, Just checked that the Boss 302 runs around 444hp stock so slightly more than the 2016 GT which is around 435hp.
Good comparison and I'm guessing since he is manual it will really depened on how good his shifts are. I'll try and get a video up if I'm able to record it.
