Just picked up a 2010 ISF and I noticed I'm not able to roll down the windows by hitting the 'unlock' button a second time.
Checked the manual and it says it's a dealer-enabled feature.

Is it true that only a dealer can do it? If so, I assume it's probably an hour labor to have it reprogrammed?

 

You hold the unlock button if it is enabled not double clicking unlock.

 

It's not enabled.

 

Also may sound dumb but is not. Check to see if you have an ISF key fob . My friend bought a 2012 ISF and it had an IS250 key fob programmed to his car . And also could not do this feauture

 

Yeah, good thought. The key fob does have the F logo on it so I assume it is correct for the car. The spare fob however, does not. I'll call the Dealer tomorrow and see.

on my RCF the roll down feature is temperamental.

press once and unlock, then press and hold within 2 seconds of releasing the first press, hold for 5-7 seconds

I've tried several combos just in case. I'll be sure to try your suggestion too.

Well if you bring the car in to the dealer for anything including recall work, they'll usually do the customization for free. That's been my experience in the past.

Your other option is to purchase Teachstream on ebay and do it yourself. It's about $40usd.

 

always wish it had the rollup and close sun roof feature as well, oh well

 

u will need to get access to techstream software to enable the option. I had done this to a local member about a week ago and his option was turned off and the dealer didn't want to do turn off his drl as I did it for him...

 

yup.....and you can also enable or disable the sunroof to open as well with the windows in the techstream programming options.

Right. There's already a rain sensor...

 

I'm using v10.30.29. I believe there's a 11.xx also.
