VIPmotoZ LED headlights
I have a 09 and diggin the 2011+ headlights. I'm not spending 2000$ on headlights.
I saw these
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-2013-Le...FWfIHS&vxp=mtr
Very popular for the ISx50 guys but never saw a set on an ISF.
These are not HID and no AFS.
What do you think?

i read through the is250 review of it. appears there are many reports of leaking of these cheaper headlights. I was considering these since last month my drivers side had condensation and killed the ballast. I decided against it due to the fogging issues many reported on it.
like lolfunxion said, they are terrible

I just picked up a set of 11+ OEM headlights for $750. I am working on refinishing them since they were stripped of bulbs, various harnesses and covers missing, had broken tabs, and had the blemishes on the housings next to projector. It's been a real *****, but as OP said, I wasn't going to drop 2k on a LED strip for my headlights. There are some deals out there to be had, just depends on the work you want to do. I bought aftermarket headlights for my last car, and I said never again. Got to pay to play...

Because I'm asking questions doesn't necessarily say I believe in these.
You probably know that in a "high end" car forum, the majority of the users are vouching only for brand parts... There are some occasions where cheap parts are still good, that's why I was asking. I'm not the type of person who just spend money on something I didn't make any search.

Quality of the light is one thing but if installation is also a big concern, the decision is easier.

And based on that, a lot of people that upgrade their IS250/350's with HID's and AFS upgrade to OEM 2011+ LED headlights. Those who have done the ebay headlights regret it, or just dont let it bother them. The leds in the strip are known to go out, and seals are known to leak.
As far as being a "high end" car forum, yes, a lot of people will vouch for brand parts, why? Because they have a reputation for working and being of high quality. There are some occasions where cheap parts are still good, and if they are, they are known to be good and word gets out. But if they are ****, then they will have that reputation to be ****. This isnt some conspiracy theory where there are cheap good parts that no one is talking about. Ebay headlights suck. Hell, even the standard HID headlights with AFS suck. I was very dissappointed the first time I drove at night with them. When my 2001 Honda S2000 has projectors that are lightyears better than the oem lexus projectors. And that is a car over a decade older.

I agree with mojo & Max. You get what you pay for. Cliche-yes. And very true. I went with a cheap rear diffuser and had nothing but problems, a total waste of time and $$. Of course it's up to you, OP. Personally, I wouldn't roll the dice-especially when it comes to headlights.
Edit: Max is the OP. My meds are getting to me...
