ELM327 / techstream / carista ??
Ok I've red a few post but found nothing about the ISF.
I have a bluetooth elm327 with the torque app which can read and erase codes but that's about it.
I'd like to have the features that techstream can provide. Is there a way to use the elm327 with techstream software?
If no, are the ebay/amazon techstream cable ok for a one-timer like me?
Thanks

The bluetooth/wifi elm327 adapters will not work with Techstream. You will need to get the mini VCI cable in order to use Techstream. Most ebay/amazon cables come with the software too.

Techstream works with "MVCI" cables.
Carista works with ELM327 wireless adapters. For more info, see:

And with that, we can stop discussing Techstream from any source other than TIS. The only approved cable is the Mongoose, and the only approved software comes through TIS at $1k annual fee. Any other source of Techstream or Techstream capable devices is using pirate software and as such is not for discussion on this forum. Sorry guys, but it is a very serious site rule.
