Talking I Finally Made The Leap

Hello Club Lexus,

I've been lurking on this forum for nearly a year learning about the ISF and finally pulled the trigger yesterday! This forum has been a wealth of knowledge and I believe I made a great choice in my 2012 SFP Lexus ISF.

I recently moved back to San Diego from the UK where I drove a 2003 Lexus IS200(153HP). You can imagine my shock when I got into an ISF for the first time!

Below is a quick picture I took this afternoon. I haven't taken many photos because I'm too busy driving around with this **** eating grin that won't go away.

I look forward to becoming an active part of this forum and would like to meet up with local ISFs in San Diego to shoot the breeze and check out mods some of you have done as I know my car isn't going to stay stock for long.

-Andrew

What modification did you start with?

I'm thinking I should put on a Joe Z exhaust ASAP. I want to hear this V8 roar!

The Joe Z was one of the first things I did (did several things simultaneously while I had it on the rack). Best bang for the buck, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Virtually every time I drive it someone comments on how good it sounds.

Congrats and welcome!

Check out a couple exhausts and hopefully hear some on person before you make the leap. Otherwise I think there's a sale (or they're just in stock) on the joez in the vendors section!

Everything.e I drive mine, people comment on the sound and I'm stock, lol! Love the engine on the F! I contemplated even putting an aftermarket exhaust on it but I took the leap and bought a joe z exhaust last week! Havent gotten around to installing it but I will soon
Congratulations OP! Excellent color and excellent taste in cars!!

I ran into an ISF owner at a gas station a few months back and asked him if he had a Joe Z exhaust, which he did. He fired up his car and damn, it sounded mean! The multiple youtube videos I watched do not do that exhaust justice.
