Wait until you get hit with laser, a whole new ballgame!
As I said earlier, I found no decrease in radar performance. As far a laser is concerned the V1 has never been that good. Laser is commonly aimed at the lic plate because the beam needs a flat surface to bounce back to the source. This is why laser shifters/jammers are mounted as close to the lic plate as possible.

It will detect laser really well if it has a clear view for the infra-red sensor up front, but you are correct, it's not the way to deal with laser.
I disagree on the jammer sensors mounting, but I don't want to hijack the thread.
I noticed. Just did t say anything. Funny as hell though
Thank you! Thank god someone acknowledged the dickbutt. I put them on all my cars, even started like an 80 page all dickbutt all the time thread on my Subaru forum.
Air tank on my wagon:
Sadly don't have one of my STI, but it was on the same place. Plastered on the back window in black so only visible up close for maximum lolz.
LOL. My eyes went immediately to it when I first saw it. Oh has the internet has ruined me.
It started with my STI. My friends put it on the back window without me noticing so I was driving, looked back, and almost crashed thinking "what the ****, is that a dickbutt?!?!?!?!!"
The one on the F they surprised me with again, but I'm perfectly happy with it so it's staying. And now slowly we are dickbutting everyone in the group of friends cars.
Love the in the mirror setup. Would be hard to do with other radars detectors. They do make mirrors with them but like you guys said they ear very pricey.
I take my radar back and forth from car to car. F is my weekend warrior.
Very cool options, love not having wires hanging down... but in the V1 mounted right below the mirror: is that not still kind of a problem if you get pulled over...? I'm wondering if there's a way to mount a small RD above the mirror so if a law enforcement guy peeks in your window, he doesn't necessarily see it.....
