It's $2950 with the group buy code and $3200 with USRS added and correct code for the combo.

It should be $4115 CAN...

Just saying... Not trying to convince you or anything. That's still a lot of moola!

My vote for HKS Hipermax GT4 coilovers. 16K front/10K rear spring. More comfortable than stock and handles like it's on rails!

You got a GT or SP version ? which one is stiffer ? I like something that is stiff as 08 stock suspension or stiffer but not harsh. Can you upgrade to 12K for the rear ? Thanks buddy ?

To these eyes it makes the car appear to be modded on the cheap, like it's owner couldn't afford to install parts that fit and work together to enhance both the looks and performance of the vehicle.

I know that many have spent lots of cash to achieve an "agressive stance". But just ask yourself how agressive is it to have to drive like your grandmother just to roll on our crappy, poorly maintained roads?

Looking forward to lively responses.

Every time I see one of these cars with the goofed up wheels, I secretly hope the person saved the stock parts to make the car right again. The crazy camber just ruins the tires and probably the wheel bearings.

Wow, talk about blowing the budget right out of the water! I just jumped in on the rr racing Penske deal with the rr racing usrs!
I thought very long and hard about it and too many times in my life I have cheaped out on stuff and wish I would have bought the better product! Not this time! What sold it for me was watching the rr racing ISF hang with the track prepped f430 and track prepped Elise. very impressive suspension and I am looking forward to my new purchase!

Congrats, Dnfwm! Looking forward to seeing your runs on the track. Anything else planned to make it completely track ready?

Hey thanks bnizzle! I still want a set of headers. When it comes to the headers they both pretty much make the same power so I would rather have Whichever ones are cheaper. This dollar conversion really sucks! If any one has some for sale pm me a price. Or if a sikky dealer can pm me their best price, please feel free.

As for track mods, I have a 245/275 setup on right now that I will probably burn off in May at the first track event. They are about half worn right now, so I might as well burn them right off. At the first event, I'm going to see how the stop tech pads do with higher temp fluid. I will probably end up getting dedicated track pads. I am also going to have to way the pros and cons against Pilot super sports and R compounds and make a decision.

Rafi was saying that these penske's are so good that I won't need to buy sway bars, so I'm happy about that. Other than that, I will just play it out as the year progresses and see where I end up. I would love to have an os giken or a torsen, but that is for sure not happening this year.

Congrats! What springs did you decide to go with? 16K / 14K?

I think there is only one version of HKS Coilovers for the IS-F: the GT4's. I think the 16K/10K setup is perfect for the ISF. Very neutral handling and also very comfortable for daily driving. It's still stiff, but no where near overdampened as the stock 2008 suspension. You can upgrade to 12K rears if you want, but I suspect you'll have a degree of oversteer with the stiffer rear springs.

Thanks man! I hope you get it figured out and jump in too!
I decided on the high spring rates (18k I think). I figured if it's too severe I can buy the other springs.

On the 2008 you should have really considered our rear toe link and LCA. Reducing rear bumpsteer is a huge improvement to overall handling stability at speed.

Regarding spring stiffness just remember that stiffening implies reduction in travel and travel is really what nets grip. We add spring rate when we are adding additional grip via tires, brakes or trying to target a new corner weight. Its a system that all has to work together and the suspension travel has an impact on steering particularly in the rear with the toe link sweep. Suspension geometry changes will be superior in the overall driver confidence and that is what matters most. As you upgrade one thing you surely find the next at the track. Just have fun and be safe.

I've had them now for over 1 year. Love them so much more than the BC Racing coils I had before.
