If you have O2 conditioners, you can install them after the secondary O2 sensors.
Ok Thanks, I have catless PPE Headers and didn't need to install O2 Conditioner and no CELs (GCC Spec ISF's seems to have no emissions setting on the ECU) So in theory I should be fine with installing cats after the O2 Sensors without conditioners.

What Hi-flow Cats do you have installed?

Same question as above, what Hi-flow cats do you have installed?
Here are some pics of my cats welded in after the secondary 02 sensors. It's pretty tight in that area. In fact, Jason (RR Racing's fabricator) altered the bend slightly near the flange on my passenger side mid-pipe to gain some clearance on top of the cat. Also, I'm pretty sure that same cat has been occasionally hitting the bracket that secures the transmission skid plate (4th pic). I sometimes heard a vibration/rubbing noise when turning right while accelerating. Yesterday, I removed the bracket & ground away the corner a bit. I haven't been able to reproduce the noise since.
Agree. Thanks for the photos. Installed headers last week but haven't welded on the hi flow cats i got from RR racing (still in box). I'm enjoying the extra power and am getting used to the smell.
So I may put the cats up for sale.
Haven't decided. But this post helps. Thanks

Hi Mike,
What exhaust system do you have and how long did it take for RR's fabricator to install the cats (i'm assuming you had the exhaust on the cat already). Thanks!
Even with Magnaflow cats welded into Borla, I still managed to put down 408HP on a DynoDynamics.
That's good to know.. Do you still have the OEM airbox/MAF? I have the RR Racing Tuned Intake set-up, so I'll be pretty happy if mine puts down anything over 420hp with the hi-flow cats.

I have the Borla exhaust.. Adding the cats to the exhaust took maybe 2-3hrs.. Though, it was his first time doing that, so he was figuring it out as he went. I originally wanted them before the sensors, but it would have required more custom fabrication to make it fit.. In hindsight, I was too focused on having them as close the headers as possible when I settled for the position they're in now.. If I had to do it all over, I'd probably opt for the location that you used. There's much more space in that area.
Mike - I still have the OEM airbox/MAF but have the AFE filter with JoeZ tube. . The DynoDynamics dyno is known to read a tad lower compared to other dynos, so I think you should be able to put down close to 420HP with the RR intake if you use a DynoJet.
read through the whole thread and it seems like most of you that installed HFC have aftermarket headers. as for me, headers is not an option due to price and labor. but if I wanted to gut my primary cats and install HFC on my exhaust would the power gain be worth the trouble?
Gutted primary + HFC on xforce exhaust vs just xforce exhaust
