So apparently whoever owned my F before me loved to change tracks with this button and wore off the seek/track text (See pic...sorry for the poor quality). With only 16k on the odometer when I bought it this was surprising. Is it possible to just buy a new front plate for the stereo? I've only seen the entire units for sale. Thanks for the help.

Hmmm...I'm more than sure you're gonna have to replace the whole unit.
This sort of fade has happened with almost all the Japanese cars I have owned. Though never so early in the life of the car. The previous owner must have had OCD tendencies.
All the parts breakdowns show the whole unit, there are no front panels available separately from Lexus. Sounds like an Alibaba search to me.
Too bad it isn't the upper panel. It is available and not horribly expensive at all.
Alibaba here I come!

I'm assuming you're still under warranty I would see if the dealer will replace it. I had a light go out in one of the buttons and they had to replace the whole unit. It's worth a shot. They may not replace it due to the wear characteristics, but never hurts to ask.
