Hard to see the 60' but it appeared the original runs were 2.0 and that intake run was a 1.9 perhaps? That's two tenths off th ET generally.

Also have to factor in the intake run was at night when I'm assuming the temperatures were a bit lower.

Change of time was roughly 2 hours between the two fastest passes.

Yes, the 60' was better but that could have been effected by power as well. There was also a 1 mph difference to the 1/8 mile which is a clear change of power as well.

I have the JoeZ intake tube and bought it purely for eye candy. Am I wrong in thinking that a hi-flow drop-in panel filter would offer more of a performance gain than the actual intake tube ?

I think you're right. Intakes and air filters don't give u any noticeable power on this car. I kept mine stock

I agree. A mod like an intake, only has benefits if the factory setup has a restriction in which the engine can breathe easier. In many cases its a supplemental mod. Increasing the ability for the exhaust to flow, will likely yield the necessity for the intake to breathe better as well. That said, standing alone I think a kit like the Apex'i which includes a non corrugated hose and increased surface area panel filter should flow a lot better than stock. The gains will be determined based off your other mods.

If you have all the other supporting modifications it helps. The dyno graphs on rr-racing are about spot on. The increase in hp on them are the same as I am I getting. +/- a few.

Yeah I'm kind of going backwards, bought a rr-racing handheld for a good price so I installed the tune first, next I'm looking to do exhaust and the tuned intake then eventually headers.

You'll probably see the most gains with the headers.

Here is the summary of our extensive dyno testing in a nutshell:

(1) Intake elbows do not make power -- we sell intake elbows but would not make a claim they make power because they don't. We sell our carbon intake pipe for aesthetic reasons, and for elimination of the valve breathers which do nothing but add gunk to your intake manifold.
(2) Our tuned intake with 88mm MAF housing only makes power with headers & tune, otherwise, if you don't have headers, or even with gutted stock manifolds, there is no point to purchasing our tuned intake, stock airbox is fine.

Headers are the way to start. By the way OP, the 2 primary cats are built into the factory headers. The kits come with O2 conditioners to prevent a CEL.

You should consider 2 new high flow cats and having them welded to the factory upipe or aftermarket exhaust.
