Why would I want to drive a beater at all... i used to have newer 1/2 ton trucks I drove in the winter but I bought an X5M a few years ago and sold my truck. Then I guess I figured I drove an X5M in the winter and it cost 2x more than the ISF so throw winter tires on and enjoy it all year
tires definitely feel wobbly at higher speeds on the highway, during slow 40mph they feel normal to me.

Looks awesome! Yeah I have zero concerns about rust on a newish Lexus. My 02 LS430 had over 200k miles and zero rust. Undercarriage was perfect, even the brake lines.

My 80's Toyota's however would dissolve after a few salty winters.

Me too, yuck.

18x8" FAST Samba wheels, wrapped in Bridgestone Blizzak WS80, 225/45 all around. The wheels are very cheaply made, but at least they are hub-centric. I already dislike the handling, but at least the ride is plush and comfy, which should be a decent hoon deterrent.

Got these on just in time. Tested in the snow last night and they work great! F-sport 19" wheels with 225 front 255 rear Blizzak LM32.

I just got my winter setup on yesterday. Did the Continental DWS last year and it was not cutting it so this year I got a set of Michelin Alpin tires. I use my 2012 stock wheels for my winter set.

I have the same setup and wheels. But I'm using Blizzak LM-60 instead. I don't mind the handling so much. But at the same time I don't drive it that aggressive.
