Exhaust tip broke off
I was walking out of the grocery store and admiring my ride as I usually do and looked down and saw only 3 tips. I quickly said to myself WTF. My baby only has 3 eyes in the back. I ordered some exhaust tips off Ebay and when you put them side by side to the OEM they were a little smaller so I sent them back. **** I did not however know Lexus wanted $400 just for the 1 side. OUCHH... I would have replaced both sides for about $138 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-11-Lexus-...-/131317832685). Still thinking about it. Can anyone tell me how to replace exhaust tips for the F? It looks like I have to remove the bumper. Not sure. Is this common with the exhaust tips falling off?
I believe the car wash was the culprit.

There's a bolt(s) holding on the tips at the top, nearly impossible to get to without removing the bumper. I had the same problem, seems alot of us do. Luckily, mine didn't fall off and I was able to give it a couple of spot welds
Mine fell off too but I backed into a curb. I've seen those aftermarket tips, I personally think they are ugly compared to the OEM ones and wouldn't use them. I think Sewell Lexus sold them for $250 a side.

Someone pried one of my tips off while parked at the mall. Pry marks were visible where the tips weld on to the housing. Unbelievable that another F owner would think of doing this. I doubt it tho, at least thats what I'm saying to myself.
Damn that stinks. Sorry that happen. Lexus wants a lot of $ for those tips
1) If you are under full CPO warranty, they should cover it, the welds rust off.
2) Those ebay tips are aftermarket and are garbage
3) I know you are in Georgia, but if you attempt to buy these and replace them yourselves, you might need the screws and mounting brackets as well, I daily drive my car in Northern Illinois (snow/salt) and my screws were rusted in and broke off when I attempted to remove them by hand. I should have used an impact to remove them.
