I do not necessarily make repeated stops from 100mph+ every time I drive. My daily commute usually takes me around 40mins and in the last 5 mins I have a chance for some spirited driving which will includes a couple of 100mph+ stops. Keeping in mind the brakes will be hot by then from the commute + living in a hot climate region and the weight of the car I think it would be a logical and good choice to have (completely ignore cost of consumables). Also at no point do I plan to track the car.
