Are you making repeated stops from 100mph+ on the road? Porsche steel brakes are very good (I have them on a Macan Turbo) and there is no real difference in braking until you do repeated stops. Weight of the car doesn't really matter as long as the steel brakes are sized appropriately. Here is a good video showing differences:
