Glad this topic was brought back to life. Mine has been soft, sticky and barely works in the recent year. Going to look for a new switch now... ebay the best price right now ($54)?

I will be doing mine this week. I'm surprised it has lasted as long as it has 13yrs. I guess I have covered parking to thank for that.

Excellent idea, thank you for sharing. My trim tools never seem quite right to extract these clips, and it is difficult to use a screwdriver in the slot without mangling the head.

I received these generic 90467-08186's last week, they seem like they will work well, <50% of OEM clip's cost at online parts outlets.
