Sorry kinda off topic.....my car with the non-navi came with an ipad connector.....now im an android user and looking for a USB input instead of the iphone so i could play mp3s....what can i buy thats compatible with non-navi? GROM?

If I remember correctly the GROM connects to the cd changer port on the back. Assuming the non-navi unit has this yes the GROM will work. I have the GROM USB3 and use it for bluetooth streaming from my iPhone. Haven't used the USB yet.

ok thanks.your GROM has USB input but you never tried playing mp3 through USB?
