I had my car lowered, camber arms and alignment done and the inside edge of my rear tires wore out within a few thousand miles the tires were not new but had even wear before that, I was annoyed so I had another alignment and the toe was out?? I recently had new tires installed at the same time I had a wheel alignment done. Not too along ago it was like I could feel the toe go out, basically you can feel the rear of the car get squirrelly or unsettled over bumps. Unfortunately I had a lot of travel for work the past week so I didn't have time to have it looked at. Last night we were travelling again and my wife said she could feel it being unsettled over bumps, this morning I checked out the rear tires sure enough the inside edges are badly worn the rest of the tire looks ok though brand new PS2 they lasted maybe two months.
I have BC coilovers and SPC lower camber arms has anyone else had the same issue where the toe keeps going out? At this rate I will have to get new rear tires with every oil change... Any help would be appreciated.
What values do you have from the alignment printout?
Every thing is as it should be. The toe and cross toe are all in spec, I don't have the sheet with me right now. I will likely get in Tuesday and see how far out it is but it was fine at first and i could tell when it went out but none of that tells me why the toe bolt seems to be slipping. I had read on hear before somewhere that it does happen but I can't recall what the solution was.
Sounds like your installer didn't set all the bushings to a neutral position at normal ride height so the toe is changing as the bushings break down and lose their phantom spring effect.
