Default Foglight Delete

Does anyone foresee any issues with removing the foglights, i.e. any unsightly mounting brackets, airflow issues?
I NEVER use my fogs, and I think it may add a touch more aggressiveness to the front of the F.
Thanks,
R

Hi R.
I've thought about this too. Deleting the fog light doesn't seem like an issue. I took out the housing once to make a seal for a condensation issue. I wonder if one could offer an oil cooler mount in place of the fog light. Possible to even augment or customize bigger ducts for the existing brake cooling ducts. Think RCF tranny and oil coolers on each side.

I've been thinking of doing this to get some cool Air up in to the air intake. With an aftermarket intake (k&n) I can see it's a direct shot from the fog light to the filter area.. May be good for cooler/denser air and some extra horses

Maybe you can add a black mesh grill for both areas? Could be subtle yet aggressive.

Yes, I was thinking exactly that! I don't have much experience with mesh, so I've been searching for a clean, professional looking way to install it.

That is awesome! I would love to see a set of LED rimmed headlights with the intake feature. I would probably have to buy them.

You have good taste, lol

It'd look very clean if you can find the same mesh used in the center of the bumper. Installation-wise, maybe it can be the same as that one too.

Going to make my own cooler kits like the gs-f has, I like my fogs though as I live in the country and they help with what they were supposed to do. Maybe I'll take them off to see how to fabricate something from glass/carbon for those looking to delete them and allow more airflow.

This would be a very cool (no pun intended) location for an oil cooler.
I checked out the parts drawing for the front bumper, and realized there is a portion of the foglight bracket built into the bumper. Ill likely end up buying a second bumper and dremmel the mount off and use some mesh in place.

I have a spare bumper in my garage. I can take a pic of the foglight mount if you want to show you what it exactly looks like

Yes it's all one piece. I'm sure you could dremel it out. I will get a shot of the back end shortly.
