Yes, another question about tire sizes...
I just ordered my wheels in a 19x8.5 ET35 Front & 19x9.5 ET45 Rear...........
I was just going to go with the standard 245/35 & 275/30 combination that so many seem to run, but I was thinking after reading some threads here that a wider front will help make the car more neutral, so I was thinking about running a 255/35 in the front as opposed to the 245/35...What do you guys think about this combo?
For now the only thing I'm going to do is install some Swift springs to lower that front gap by a 1" and the backs at .6"
Will this combination work without rubbing in the front is my main concern
I think I'll be ok in the rear without having to roll my fenders?

Thanks for the response! As long as I don't rub in the front with the 255/35 with an 1" drop I think I'll be cool with that.
Curious though I notice some guys run a square set-up for handling purposes, I wonder why a staggered set-up was put on the ISF if you can equal out the traction Front to Rear then why not run a square set-up if traction is not an issue with a rear wheel drive vehicle??

^^^Awesome that's the feedback I was looking for! If your running a 10" wide in the front with no rubbing and on swift springs, and mine will be a 8.5 +35 with a 255/35 then it looks like I'll be ok on that front.
Do you have any pics of your car with that set-up?

^^^^^My bad your right, I wasn't reading that correctly. Car looks good! What are your specs for the rear?
In my fitment the 255/35 will go on a 8.5" wide front with a +35 offset, so not as wide as yours, so I think my tire will hang over the wheel a little bit more, but will still be within the recommended widths of a 8.5" wheel. Discount tire direct said that a 225-255 is the recommended widths for a 8.5" wheel.

A 255 on a 10" rim is stretched. A lot. I'm running 255s on the front with the OEM 2014 8 1/2" wheels. I had 245s, but couldn't get new ones, so I put my previous rears on the front, and they work really well. If I had 10" rims, I'd be running 275/285 without a doubt.

Thanks. My rear wheels are the same. 19x10 +43. 265/35 are on right now. Slight roll in the back. I'll have to get more aggressive with it when I go up in size. With the right specs (read: less aggressive offset) you can fit 285/295 without any fender modifications.

Yeah. There is stretch. Definitely not ideal IMO. Hazard of buying used. It helps a little that PSS are among the wider tires. 275 square is the goal. I don't think I have a chance of 285 without risking rubbing on the inside. I'm still running my OEMs on track.
