Took a chance on a Ebay CF Spoiler for $168 bucks. Was impressed with the quality fit and finish. I just installed it yesterday. Removing the old double sided tape was the longest part of the process from the original. Also installed a CF insert for the emblem on the trunk. Still waiting on Tom's CF Diffuser, three weeks to go.

Did the spoiler include the 7 clips and the 2 threaded bolt and nuts or did u just install it with double sided tape?

 

sheesh looks oem to me, better than paying a couple of thousand, looks great!

 

Did not have the clips, so I removed all the orginal tape on the trunk completely and then used 3m double side tape over the clips on the trunk and along the orginial tape area. Its on there strong. I might add the screws and washer on the ends if I see it seperating on the ends. Definitely a good price.

looks great, I'm surprised it looks so good.

The only way to find out if this was worth it or not is to see if the CF has changed color after a few months.

If it starts to become yellow and not so glossy then it'll get worse with time.

 

Yeah, after you mentioned this, I looked at my supplies and had some cermanic coating sealant. Gave it two coats and some wax. I will keep everyone updated for the durability.

Nice! I've been looking at the same spoiler on Ebay and debating if it's going to look OEM or not. And it does! Looks awesome! Guess I'll be ordering that up for my F...

How was getting the stock spoiler off? Was it a total pain?
