I use a Belltronics detector, the one below the Sti model. I only use it in the states as its illegal here, and it did save my *** lots of times especially in Michigan, cops hide literally in the bushes between the divided hwy! wtf!
I took my ISF in for the recall so I got a rental 2015 hyundai Sonata, beat the **** out of the car cause it wouldn't pass cars or stay at 100 lol, I managed to get there in one tank and back in one tank!

I have the 9500ix, Passport MAX2, and a V1 lol. I keep the V1 in my IS, my 9500ix in the garage (retired) and the Max2 in the woman's car.

Honestly, once you have the arrows from the V1, you can never go back. I disabled K and X band to keep it from going nuts on the freeway and it's done a pretty damn good job of keeping me from being pulled over. The Max2 is a nice detector, but doesn't really compare to the 9500ix IMO. I debate going back to the 9500ix sometimes just because my experience with that detector was that good.

It's kind of hard to use a radar detector around here. All the cops use laser and once that laser is locked on your car and your detector goes off, they already have you. I have a friend who has a laser jammer and its saved his *** numerous times. Only downside its definitely not cheap when you count the cost, labor, and cross your fingers that it works.

What are y'alls experiences with these detectors picking up the VG-2's? The radar detector detectors that police use.

Jammers are awesome, every time I pass a cop and its going off I just smile and go about my business.

Silly question, it was obvious that you had some jamming devices in your vehicle to forbid him from picking up your speed. And for that, would he still pull you over???

V1 + YaV1 is a very good set up. Adding jammers would be ultimate set up.

9500ix , kept having problems with V1 and didnt get a warm fuzzy feeling from their service department. Problems I had may have been due to Texas heat and not always removing from dash.

Default Bell StiR+ and laser interceptor jammer

Bell StiR+ and laser interceptor jammer. Both have saved me from a number of tickets (knock on wood but no tickets in the 3yrs owning the F). It's anpricey setup but excellent all around (stealth and performance on both radar and laser).

How did you deprogram? I just turn off the volume down in town, but I never notice the man actually running with radar on in town anyways.

I've looked a tiny bit into it but without taking more time to understand it's kind of confusing. Is there a specific guide you followed?
