I finally (after 4 months of waiting) received the kit! Got it fit up pretty good, gotta mold some in sides of the diffuser to be able to stick on double sided tape (it's gapped about 1/4" on the outter sides) but other than that it is a very good fitting kit! I'm going to have a friend (a auto body expert) paint it for the most part.
Honestly... and I usually hate when people say this about our cars... I think the kit actually cheapens the look of the Lexus and drags it a little closer to "modded Accord in the late 90s" look. Maybe it's the vents in the rear lip/diffuser, combined with the vertical decals you have going down the door, I don't know. I'm the first to say to each his own, so if you like it, that's all that matters... but it definitely reminds me of a look from about 15 years ago in the tuning world.
^^^as long as you like it....however, imho the rims throws it off, plus the stickers. The kit looks good if you match the paint. Whatever floats your boat
Thank you! I'm not worried about pleasing others, I just like a wild look. My mk3 has quite the pieced together body kit, I'd rather take bits of different things that are from different kits but this cwest kit was the one for the f in my opinion. The orange is really growing on me, they were originally on my mk3 (haven't painted/installed the body kit, need to order fenders still)
Not a fan of the rear lip or the wheel color.. I'd paint the wheel face gunmetal, remove decals, and go back to stock rear if it were my car. But I really like the front lip and sides of the kit.
The Cwest front lip and side skirts look great.
The car looks like an is250 from the back...it is not reminiscent of a $65k performance sedan.
If I had the choice, I would part with the rear diffuser, decals, and lug nuts (the blue lugs clash with the orange wheels).
Otherwise, the orange/sgm combo is starting to grow on me.
Here's a pic from importfaceoff yesterday, the kit is painted for the most part (I left the carbon showing on the bottom of the skirt, and the 3 nubs on the rear diffuser, the front lip is all carbon)

I agree with you on the is250/350 look. Most people don't even know what an IS-F is. They just assume it is the same as the is250/350 but modded. I'd also prefer Toms or Walds diffuser in the back with stock ISF tips, ottherwise the car looks sick.
