Default Headlights (bulbs)

I just got my 2008 ISF about 3 weeks ago and I'm looking at getting new headlight bulbs. I want to get bright white ones because I think that the blue ones I have currently look bit ricey (in my opinion). Does anyone have any suggestions as to what kind I should get?

Im also looking into new white fog light bulbs as well. Any suggestions/comments are highly appreciated!

if you want factory ones, they are 4100-4300k color temperature. some people get 5000-6000k ones, a bit whiter but less light output

i would also invest a bit more money on good brand ones. philips ultinion is always good

If I get the 5000-6000k ones, would that require any kind of additional wiring or special set up?

I believe any D4S will work. I went with Morimoto 5000k which I think look great. I've only had them in about 1 month though. My experience is pretty limited, but to me they seem like a good compromise between the super cheap stuff / knockoffs and the more expensive Osrams and Philips.

For the fogs, I know some people fit LEDs and HIDs into them. I just have the the 2014 LED fogs.

I've got the Phillips Ultinon 6000k Flash White. They're a bit whiter than oe. I got them from the retrofit source here in Atlanta for right around $200.
Good luck

when the HID bulb went out in my 2IS, I bought an OEM phillip bulb on ebay for $40. The new one was a LOT brighter than the factory original one so I ended up getting another to match it and its much better than when it was from the factory

Same experience here. I had one bulb starting and going out after a minute or two. I replaced both on principle and got much better lighting. The bulbs were exactly the same, but their performance over time drops off, so new is always better than old.
