If you didn't tell him what gear to dyno it at then how would he know which one to dyno?

You will get different results in different gears. I had my 08 isf when i was attending UTI in sac. We put it on the dyno and 3rd gear pull it put out 358 whp in 74 degree room not sure what humidity was. We also did a 4th gear pull and it put out 368 whp.... So it does matter what gear to use. Usually its a 1:1 ratio but my street performance teacher said 3rd gear was the gear to use.....

Upgrades were a K&N Intake.

Ive tried to pull 6 gear dynos but the speed is to high , I decided not to risk it . All my pulls are on 3 gear ,and ive been able to see the gains in my mods as i go by . By keep using the aame dyno from reference , i managed to see gains of 30 whp on headers and 30 more on exhaust. I now if I gained power on 3 gear , it wil definetly gain power in 6 gear! Or for thatatter in all power band!

Also Ive always said so! The headers available for our cars don'T create all of the power they claim just by their desing the real power is on the removal of the primary cats what gives great power , im glad this has been brought up.

well the proof is here I spent less than $1000.00 for my set up and I'm pushing 400whp
