Default F emblem on front grill

I've seen quite a few ISF''s with the F emblem on the front grill, and have grown to like it. For those who have done it, how did you attach it? Is there a particular one you purchased? Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

I'm still not sold on the F emblem in the grill, although I think our cars definitely need something that identifies the model from the front. In the back we have the quad tails and the F on the trunk. On the sides there is the fender vents and the F emblems but on the front there is no real conspicuous identifier. For the most part the average looker is not going to recognize that the hood has a bulge or the bumper has brake vent openings and is slightly different size than isx50. An F symbol on the grill would be good but the ones I have seen just seem out of place almost like Type R emblems some kids put on the back of their old Civics. It would have been nice if the Factory had done something more to distinguish the F looking from the front.

Glued factory emblem to a metal plate with screws, then thumb screw it into place on the mesh with washers.

The F looks so out of place on the front grill IMO. Even with it on the grille its not like the average person even knows what an IS F is or that such a thing even exists.I personally like the sleeper look, one that turns the right heads and makes them wonder whats really under the hood.

....the emblem's are not cheap to take chances with wire....and what do you plan to tie the wire to on a flat emblem?

I also think the OP was asking for advice on how to install it, not personal opinions or approvals.

What would be sweet is if a company made quality F emblems for our cars. Similar to this.

I agree also. The F in the grill located to one side reminds me to much of the Corolla Sport model that had the S emblem located on one side of the grill too.

I did the same as Digger. At $65 for the emblem, I didn't want to take any chances of it falling off or being stolen.

I'm on the same boat on this topic.

Also, IMO the F badge appears to me to be too large on the grill... maybe a smaller F badge on the grill if there's one out there.

Kinda like the Corolla S badge on the grill... the grill one appears smaller than the larger trunk lid badge. Not 100% sure on that tho
