Default Spark Plug questions and interval recommendations

How many of you guys have changed out your stock plugs yourself, and if so was it difficult for a DIY job??

What is the interval that Lexus recommends, and what type are they (NGK, Denso, etc....)?

Lexus recommends every 60k miles, as for brand names I would just go w O.E. & have a certified tech install them. They are $125 bucks for a complete set alone.

I picked up the OEM Densos from Advance Auto Parts for $90 shipped when they had a promotion going on. I think they run it once or twice a year.

The job itself is pretty straightforward, I would want to kick my own *** if I spent $400 for the dealer to do it. Took me about 3 hours taking my time.

Those jet engines might be affecting your reading skills. As I said in the post directly before yours, it is an easy job.

It took me about 4 hours to do. I can probably do it again in 2. I spent a lot of time trying various tools and attachment combinations to get the plugs in and out. It's very cramped

My mechanic spent 2-3 hrs on the job, it was very cramped. He charged me $80 I think it's well worth it
