I have been in the market for something new, currently have a CTS-V which is been fun for a few years but my car ADD cant let me keep anything for much longer.
Anyways, have been doing some research into the ISF, modding, difference by year, etc.
Sucks that the aftermarket is so limited with these cars, but kinda cool what people have been able to do with nitrous.
One of my biggest concerns is with running nitrous, has anoyone exposed any weak links on the car?
Transmission? rear end? axle shafts? It seems that the motor is up to the task, but the drivetrain always worries me.
Also, what is considered the safe limit of nitrous with an otherwise stock car?
I test drove one and while it was nice all around, I was a bit surprised at how harsh the ride was being a lexus. It was an 08 model which is probably what I will end up with in my budget.
I have heard the tein lowering springs actually make the ride better....do the tein springs actually make the ride softer than stock? Seems a bit unusual.
ive had nitrous on mine for 3 years now. no issues. 100 shot on pump, 150 with race gas. F's are tough. From Strip, to road course, to dinner and a movie with a simple change of tires. Had mine for 5 years now and love it. Very few cars il leave an ISF for.

Thats awesome, so I assume you didnt have to change anything at all to run a 100 shot? Stock plugs? 93 octane and throw a 100 shot at it and its good?
